Dungannon Flying Club Splash-In

Dungannon Model flying club, held it's first '2008 splash in' at Eskragh lough Dungannon. There was a great turn out for this event, with 22 registered pilots, also many boat modellers turned up with a selection of electric speed boats and one fantastic very large scale racing boat.
The weather conditions were a little windy during the morning session, however come 1.00pm. the wind dropped and the afternoon was perfect for flying off water, even my own Tiger Moth had 3 successful flights, well it would have been 4,except the big lady flipped over on the first flight and floated peacefully down the lough to a great cheer from the crowd. Overall it was a great day with many new faces on the flight line, checkout the calender for the next event.
